Dan Feshbach

Almost 20 years ago, Mr. Feshbach founded LoanPerformance, Inc., a financial technology and predictive modeling business with a client base of over 100 of the leading national financial institutions in the mortgage market. He has served as its President and CEO ever since. Mr. Feshbach is a nationally recognized figure in his industry. His interest in Animated Speech derives from his experience with his autistic son and he is one of four founders of the Oak Hill School in Marin City for children with severe learning disabilities.
Dr. Dominic Massaro
Chief Scientist and Co-founder
Dr. Massaro is Professor of Psychology and Computer Engineering and Director of the Perceptual Science Laboratory at University of California at Santa Cruz. Dr. Massaro's research and theory (supported with grants from the National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health) have culminated in the 3D conversational agent, Baldi. With over 200 publications, his recent articles and speaking engagements focus on the effectiveness of Baldi for language training with deaf and autistic children and second-language learners. Dr. Massaro has been a Guggenheim Fellow, is a Fellow of the American Psychological Society, and past president of the Society for Computers in Psychology.
Ian Rogoff
Investor and Strategic Advisor, Sierra Angels
Ian Rogoff is a General Partner at Sierra Nevada Partners, an investment management company designed to buy and grow stable, profitable, and sustainable businesses located in the high-growth inter-mountain corridor. Previously, Mr. Rogoff held multiple Vice President positions at Microsoft Corp. Mr. Rogoff has a background in sales, consulting, software development, systems integration, business development, and mergers and acquisitions. He is an active angel investor and serves on number of corporate and non-profit boards.
Jane Swift
WNP Consulting
The first woman to serve as Governor of Massachusetts implemented sweeping changes in the public schools, which have been ranked among the best in the nation. As the Founder of WNP Consulting, LLC, she now provides guidance to early stage education companies. In addition to her work with Animated Speech, she serves on the boards of Sally Ride Science, WellCare Health Plans, Inc., and Suburban Propane. Swift is also a member of the not-for-profit boards Landmark Volunteers and College Summit.
Swift, who has received six honorary doctorates and numerous awards, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Trinity College, in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1987. She has held fellowships at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and at Williams College.
