EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES
 Designed by experts in the fields of speech-language pathology and linguistics, Timo Stories is the result of many years spent in clinical work and in the classroom with children who have language problems.
As a licensed clinical psychologist and speech-language pathologist, Dr. Lauren Franke has spent the last 25 years in private and clinical practice with an emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, language, learning and ADD disorders. She is especially interested in helping students achieve higher levels of linguistic functioning through developing narrative and discourse skills. Dr. Franke applied the best practices, techniques and research in narrative intervention to developing the foundation and content within Timo Stories. Pamela Connors, who has worked extensively with new educational technology for deaf and hard of hearing students at the Tucker-Maxon Oral School collaborated with Dr. Franke on the design and content development for Timo Stories.
